very nice skin
fits greatly into my current setting.
normally i don't like these "put ALL the things into one"-skins...
i hope you'll seperate them and make the skin more dynamic...
already started modding it on my own... i've missed a clock and integrated the player into the sidebar ;)

you could make 2 versions of some parts for example... the player: one is your current and the other version would be fitted for putting it into the sidebar like i did...
and the background... don't know much of that stuff but maybe you can work with gradients to make the sidebar dynamic...

i'm sure you'll do a great job :P
by the way: great taste in music^^

thanks for feedback. Currently, I dont have much time for more updates so till I get my hands on it, it stays like this. I already have lots of things requested to being added, so I am not sure if I could make update that large to seperate each widget. About intergrating player, I didnt do that because the player was made by :iconneiio:, and even though I could or would, I wanted the height of sidebar be alright to even 800x600 desktop. That means that users with 800x600 resolutions would get widgets under 600px height croped.

Dynamic taskbar is one of the main updates I will add then.. then there were requests for shortcuts and HDD meters. If there would be time, there is also a request for making a meters for several Cores. Maybe after then I can get to separating widgets from taskbar to get Memento to being fully user friendly theme. Cheers for now ^^

Hi, I've noticed something of a bug - I decided to install this on my laptop (resolution 1366x768) and that works fine...However, when I adjust the bar size so that it properly fits my desktop without overlapping the taskbar, the background disappears.

When I run 768 size it works alright. Look here: [link]
Check again if you set the size right.

Undoubtedly, you have the 768 right - but when I try to reduce that by say, a further 10 pixels so that it fits with a small taskbar using the baero skin, the background doesn't show up.

It supports only sizes I made. That means all default desktop resolution heights. Including 4:3, 16:9 and 16:10 ratios.

I may make it dynamic on the next updates so you can set the height to whatever you want. It wont be in the next update (I already have many things prepared there) but might be on another one. Lets say give me 2 or 3 weeks. Its much of a time but the school takes me a lot of it.

Wow, i just installed this together with the memento pixelfucker visual styles and it looks absolutely amazing :D. It's missing some options but it's great nonetheless and to be fair it's a new theme. Like ampangel pointed out, I would also love to see an option for HDD usage but also maybe a recycle bin and volume control button. But I just read that you're already working on an update so I'm eager to see what you'll have in store for us :).

I only have one issue, not sure if it's just me but the "log out/restart/shutdown" buttons don't seem to work. Clicking them does nothing at all. Any idea on how to fix this? I haven't changed any of the settings inside the text file other than the weathercode and email account.

Thanks

I'll take a look at that, though it should work properly. It might be different according to version of windows or new version of RM.

This skin is easily one of my new favourites. One question though - is it possible to change the skin to allow for multiple cores on the CPU?

It's a shame, but I'll definitely be watching out for it - I use enigma at the moment, and find it kind of boring aesthetically, so this'll fit the bill as a replacement nicely. :)

Awesome setup, awesome colors. :D
Just a note: When you change the weather prefix in this section:
;////WEATHER
Location=xxxxx
Type=f
postfix=f

It doesn't actually change it as you have it set in [MeterTemp] as you have it written down as:
Postfix=" °C"

People have to manually change that as well.

A few suggestions to help pad out the remaining real estate on the bar:
1) Multiple Hard drive used/free.
2) Dual/Triple/Quad/Six/Octa Core support.
3) Shortcut support.

Another suggestion:
Have a configurator so people whom don't know how to modify an INI can change settings easy.

Otherwise, sexy skin. Good work. Clean INI configurations too. (So hard to see that these days.)

Thanks for constructive critism. Im glad you informed me about the weather bug. I am noting your suggestions as well and will try to do something about it in future. Originally, I also wanted to make more substyles of gfx but during the project running I got ill which kept me away to make final calls.

About the configurator, I would like to make it, but I am not sure how. Is it just bunch of bang commands for variables or?

Btw. Glad you found time to check everything out. Regards :chew:
